Trial & Beta Information
Being on a trial or in our beta program means your account works a bit differently than standard subscriptions. Trial users get different pricing, have access to exclusive features, or operate under different data policies.
Understanding these differences helps you make the most of your special access and avoid confusion about billing or timeline expectations.
Trial Status
If you're on a 14-day trial:
- You have full access to all Soufflé features
- You can create up to 3 active projects (Plus tier access)
- You'll receive email reminders on days 12 and 14 about trial expiration
Data Retention After Trial
- During Trial: Full access to all projects and features
- Trial End: 30-day grace period to export your projects or subscribe
- After Grace Period: Account data is permanently deleted
Beta Program Differences
If you're a beta user, your billing may differ from the standard pricing shown in Settings:
- Beta participants receive discounted rates during the testing period
- Beta customers get permanent pricing benefits after launch
- Your actual billing reflects beta pricing, not the standard rates shown in the Plans page
