Plan & Billing Management
Nobody likes dealing with billing issues, especially when you're trying to focus on important project work. We've designed our billing system to be straightforward, but when questions come up, you shouldn't have to hunt through complicated help documents.
This page covers everything you need to know about managing your subscription, understanding your invoices, and making plan changes without the usual billing headaches.
Understanding Your Plan
Current Plan Information (found in Settings → Billing & Invoices)
- Plan Type: Shows your current subscription (Mini, Plus, or Signature)
- Billing Cycle: Monthly or Yearly
- Price: Your current rate
- Active Projects: How many active projects you can have
Plan Descriptions
- Mini: 1 active project — for single project planning
- Plus: 3 active projects — for multiple project management
- Signature: 5 active projects — for complex project portfolios
Annual Billing
Switch to yearly billing for 15% off (shown when you toggle to "Yearly").
Changing Your Plan
Upgrading Your Plan
- Go to Settings → Plans to view available options
- Click "Select Plan" on your desired tier
- Upgrades take effect immediately after payment billing
- Your active project limit increases right away
Downgrading Your Plan
- If you have more active projects than your new plan allows, you'll need to archive projects first
- The system will show you exactly how many projects to archive
- Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle
- You keep access to all archived projects regardless of plan tier
Important Notes
- Archived projects are unlimited across all plans
- Duplicated projects count toward your active project limits
- You can archive and reactivate projects anytime to manage your limits
Payment & Invoices
Managing Your Payment Method
- Go to Settings → Billing & Invoices to view your current payment method
- Click "Change" next to your payment method to update your credit card or billing address
- Your payment information is processed securely through Stripe
- Your billing address should match the address associated with your payment method
Viewing Your Billing History
- Your invoice history appears in the Invoices section of Settings → Billing & Invoices
- Click "Download" to get PDF copies of your invoices for expense reports
- Invoices show detailed billing breakdowns and payment history
- You can download invoices anytime, even for previous billing periods
Current Billing Summary
The Billing & Invoices page shows:
- Your current plan and monthly/yearly billing cycle
- Next billing date
- Payment method on file with masked card details
- Recent invoice history with payment status
