Beta Community & Support Channels

As a beta user, you have multiple ways to get help when you need it. The beta community is your first line of support — other hardware engineers who understand your challenges — backed by direct access to our development team.

Slack Workspace Channels

You have access to our private Slack workspace where you can connect with other hardware engineers testing Soufflé and get direct support from our team:

#support-technical

Report issues, get help with problems, share browser/system details for debugging. Use this channel when something isn't working as expected or when you encounter bugs.

#support-non-technical

Questions about your account, subscription, or how to use specific features. This is for "how do I..." questions and account-related issues.

#feedback

Share ideas for new features, suggest improvements to existing workflows. This is where your product input gets heard and discussed.

#general

Community discussion and peer-to-peer help. Connect with other beta users, share planning experiences, discuss hardware engineering challenges.

#announcements

Stay updated on new features released, bug fixes completed, changes to beta pricing or policies, and timeline updates for product launch.

Getting the Best Support Experience

Before You Ask

Check if someone else has already asked your question in the relevant Slack channel. The search function helps you find previous discussions.

When Reporting Issues

Include screenshots when possible, describe what you were trying to do, and mention your browser and operating system. The more context you provide, the faster we can help.

For Account or Billing Issues

Use email (souffle@breadboardfoundry.com) for sensitive information like payment problems or account access issues.

Community Support Philosophy

Other beta participants are your best resource for workflow questions and creative solutions. Before asking the team, try posting in #general — you might get insights from engineers who've faced similar challenges.
