Beta Pricing & Transition

As a beta participant, you receive special pricing that continues even after Soufflé launches publicly. This section explains your pricing benefits, what happens during the transition to public launch, and how to keep your discounts.

Your Beta Pricing Benefits

During Beta Period

You receive discounted rates while testing the product. Your billing reflects these special beta rates, not the standard pricing shown in Settings > Plans.

After Public Launch

Beta participants get a permanent 20% discount on all plans:

  • Mini: $63/month (vs $79 regular price)
  • Plus: $159/month (vs $199 regular price)
  • Signature: $268/month (vs $335 regular price)

Important Billing Note

Your billing may show different amounts than the standard pricing displayed in Settings > Plans. Your actual billing reflects your beta pricing, not the standard rates shown in the interface. If you have questions about billing, reach out to Slack support or souffle@breadboardfoundry.com.

Transition to Public Launch

Advance Notice

You'll receive advance notice of the transition timeline before Soufflé launches publicly. We won't surprise you with sudden changes.

Automatic Discount Application

Your 20% discount will be automatically applied to your account. You don't need to do anything to keep your special pricing.

Continued Community Access

The Slack workspace will remain available for a transition period after launch. You'll still have access to the beta community and direct support channels.

First Access to New Features

You'll continue to get first access to any new features we release, even after the public launch.

Keeping Your Benefits

No Action Required

Your beta benefits automatically continue after launch. Your special pricing and early access to features are permanent thank-you gifts for helping us build Soufflé.

Account Continuity

All your projects, settings, and account information carry over seamlessly. The transition won't affect your existing work or data.

Ongoing Support

You'll continue to have access to priority support and direct input on future features.

Post-Launch Changes

Documentation Updates

This Beta Program section will be removed from the documentation after launch, but all your other access and benefits continue.

Community Evolution

The Slack workspace may transition to a broader user community, but beta participants will maintain special status and access.
