Getting Started as a Beta User
Welcome to the beta program! Your first week is designed to get you comfortable with Soufflé and connected with the community. We'll check in with you regularly to make sure you're getting the most out of your early access.
Your First Week Timeline
Day 1 — Welcome Package
You should have received a welcome email with your Slack workspace invite and a link to the Getting Started guide. If you haven't joined Slack yet, check your email for the invitation—that's where the beta community lives and where you'll get the fastest support.
Day 3 — First Check-in
We'll reach out via Slack DM or email to see how your initial experience is going and offer to answer any questions. This isn't a test—we genuinely want to know if anything's confusing or if you're running into roadblocks.
Day 7 — Initial Feedback
We'll ask about your first impressions and request specific feedback about features you've tried. This is also when we identify any blockers or confusion areas. Your early feedback helps us catch issues before they become bigger problems.
Making the Most of Your Early Access
Try Real Projects, Not Test Cases
Use Soufflé for actual project planning, not just testing. This gives you real experience with the workflow and reveals issues we might not catch in artificial testing scenarios. Your actual project needs help us understand what's missing.
Test Different Project Types
If possible, try Soufflé with different kinds of hardware projects - PCB designs, mechanical assemblies, compliance projects, etc. Different project structures reveal different strengths and weaknesses in our approach.
Join the Community
The Slack workspace isn't just for reporting bugs. Other beta participants might have solved problems you're facing, and you might have insights that help them. The community makes everyone's beta experience better.
