Account Security & Recovery
Getting locked out of your account is frustrating, especially when you need access to ongoing project deadlines. We've designed our recovery process to be secure but not unnecessarily complicated.
Whether you've forgotten your password or need to verify a new email address, these processes are straightforward once you know the steps. Here's how to regain access and keep your account secure going forward.
Password Recovery Process
If you can't log into your account:
- 1.From the Login Page: Click "Forgot Password?" (red link next to the password field)
- 2.Enter Your Email: Type your sign-in email address and click "Submit"
- 3.Check Your Email: Look for "Time to remix your recipe! Let's set a new password"
- 4.Follow the Link: Click the reset link in your email (expires in 24 hours)
- 5.Set New Password: Enter and confirm your new password, then click "Set password"
Email Verification
If you need to verify your email address (for example, after changing it):
- 1.Check your email for a message titled "Let's get this soufflé rising! Confirm your email"
- 2.Enter the 6-digit verification code on the verification page
- 3.Click "Verify" to confirm your email address
- 4.Click "Resend" if you don't receive the code within a few minutes
